In 2022, OneAfghanistan partnered with the UMC Free Clinic and Community Changemakers to host a free mela/picnic for newly-arrived Afghan refugees across south Florida. With over 400 people in attendance, the event consisted of music, sports, kites, bubbles, balloons, bottle rockets, free clothing, and more.
